It was great to meet so many of you last Friday when Elementa exhibited and presented a seminar at Plymouth Marjon University’s highly successful NQT Employability Fair.

Having been very well planned, the day was enthusiastically attended by many Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs). The NQT Employability Fair was very lively, which meant We were really excited to hear from graduates and soon-to-be graduates looking to get into teaching, many of whom shared with us how much they had enjoyed the day as well as how helpful the lectures were.

In the morning Sarah Morrison, founder of Elementa co-presented a lecture to Secondary students together with Jenny Veal, Head Teacher of Taunton Academy. This workshop was highly interactive, containing lots of real-world examples and practical advice which was well received by both the students and the university.

I enjoyable presenting alongside Jen Veal, Head Teacher of Taunton Academy with whom we work very closely. Myself and the Elementa team take great satisfaction in being able to help the teachers of tomorrow into their first teaching roles.”

Elementa provides talks and guidance for soon-to-be teachers, helping and supporting them to secure their first role. Often, those looking to become teachers are not clear on the various pathways available to them.
