Pudsey Bear and the Children in Need telethon return today for the annual charity fundraiser. The star-studded fundraising event is bringing together many of the UK’s biggest talents to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
During the 40th anniversary celebrations this year, we can look forward to highlights such as appearances from EastEnders, Strictly Come Dancing, Doctor Who and The Repair Shop as well as a look at Pudsey Bear’s private life. In addition, Joe Wicks is completing a 24 hour PE challenge.
Every year, Children in Need entertains audiences across the country with a TV show featuring stars from music, sport, film and TV. The charity has been raising money for children since 1980 and is thought to have raised more than £1 billion over the years.
Also taking place this year has been the Rickshaw Challenge with Matt Baker and the other participants completing the 332-mile challenge from home on exercise bikes.
