On Friday, the Elementa team were proud to support Broad Community Trust at their annual charity ball at Rookery Manor.

The popular Las Vegas themed event was the trust’s sixth annual ball, raising much needed funds for local charities Weston Hospicecare, and Macmillan North Somerset. These restricted funds go towards the salaries of the advisors in the support centre at Weston General Hospital.

Founder of Elementa, Sarah Morrison, who has been involved with the Broad Community Trust Ball since the start, supporting every one of the six balls to date said “After the outstanding care Weston hospicecare provided for my mum I’m very happy to be involved in supporting this event every year. Also, it is reassuring knowing that the funds are allocated locally to support these valuable services on the ground.

Attendees of the event were entertained by a Las Vegas themed casino, the winner of which won a Nintendo Switch. There was also a golden raffle for a three night break in Las Vegas. Entertainment included live music from 90s tribute act Cotton Eye Joe and the Lipinski Brothers.
