World Mental Health Day 2020

10 October each year is World Mental Health Day. Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time of the year, but 10 October is a great time to show your support for better mental health and to start looking after your own wellbeing.

This year’s World Mental Health Day theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is ‘mental health for all’.

Mental Health in Schools

The Elementa team understand that as teachers, the mental health and wellbeing of your students is really important to you. We also realise that after a challenging year, now, even more than usual, is a time when teachers are juggling an awful lot. So this year, it has never been more important to prioritise mental health – both yours and that of your students. Let’s come together to feel positive about the future.

Elementa are experienced Team Teach trainers. We help Schools and teaching staff across seven local authorities with tailored positive behavioural management training. One of the innovations from Team Teach is Mental Fitness – a digital learning course designed to help schools support students, staff and parents/carers to improve and sustain their mental health and wellbeing.
