Elementa are eagerly looking forward to participating at the teaching event at Plymouth Marjon University tomorrow, Friday 7 February.
During the day there will be Professional Skills workshops hosted by the university as well as the opportunity to have converations with those working within the education sector. Please come along and have a chat with us – we are very happy to answer any questions about starting your career in teaching.
Sarah Morrison, founder of Elementa together with Jenny Veal, Head Teacher of Taunton Academy will give a presentation to the attendees.
We are looking forward to lots of engaging conversations with those looking to become the teachers of tomorrow as well as with University staff.
Elementa offers talks and guidance for soon-to-be teachers, helping and supporting them to secure their first role. Frequently, those looking to become teachers can be unclear on the various pathways available to them.
Often during events such as these, students are really pleased to be helped to clearly see the different routes open to them, helping them to make an informed choice as to which option would be best for them personally.
Elementa participated at last year’s teaching event at Plymouth Marjon University. The day had been extremely well planned and enthusiastically attended by many NQTs. We heard from graduates and soon-to-be graduates looking to get into teaching, many of whom shared with us how much they had enjoyed the day as well as how helpful the lectures were.
We look forward to another positive event this year!
